Piles (Hemorrhoids)
Piles, or hemorrhoids, are swollen and inflamed veins in the rectum and anus that cause discomfort, itching, pain, and sometimes bleeding. They can be internal (inside the rectum) or external (around the anus) and are commonly linked to chronic constipation, straining during bowel movements, and low-fiber diets.
